Our Difference
A steeplechase is a long, cross-country foot race, peppered with natural obstacles such as streams, logs, rocks and hedges.
We believe that children who learn to navigate obstacles (of any kind) at a young age will be better prepared for the world, and ultimately they will enjoy greater success and happiness in their lives.
With a nod to our building’s origin as a church, and our sights set on equipping our children to navigate the obstacles of the world- Steeplechase Academy was born.
Outside, our incredible playground features a 1400 foot steeplechase course, complete with dozens of fun and challenging natural obstacles to develop strong bodies, confident hearts, and resilient minds.

Modified Montessori Curriculum
Montessori is a time-honored educational model which allows children to explore and learn within a carefully curated environment. Children are encouraged to become self-sufficient, to challenge themselves, and to follow their natural curiosity. Beautiful classrooms are expertly equipped to provide a hands-on, experiential program for all levels of development. Activities are designed to be self-correcting and to isolate specific skills for a progressive learning dynamic. Our Modified Montessori Program further adapts this highly successful 20th century educational model to include contemporary goals such as learning to use a computer and mastering modern social graces.
