Programs
Infants
Our infants receive incredible care and support with our focus on developmental milestones, sleep safety, and parent support. Each infant sleeps with an electronic apnea monitor, and current AAP recommendations for safe sleep are practiced without exception. Infants enjoy tummy time, outdoor play, and tons of snuggles and cuddles throughout their day.
Parents receive monthly milestones updates, and daily communication about their child. Individual cameras even allow parents to view their child while napping.
Our Modified Montessori program shines within our gorgeously renovated building. From state-of-the-art security and safety features, to beautifully inviting classrooms and community spaces, every detail welcomes you and your child to grow, learn, and thrive.
Toddlers
Toddler years are an exciting and busy time! Our infants are promoted into classrooms with one year old children after their first birthday and when they have achieved certain milestones.
Toddlers begin to work with Montessori equipment immediately, and our days include a brief teacher-led circle time, meals at the table, naps, recess, group activities, and self-selected activity time.
Potty training may start in this classroom, as your little one sees other toddlers practicing to be “big kids”. The power of the peer group is real and it can be a fantastic motivator for toddlers!

Preschool
Developmental Preschool
Our Developmental Preschool classroom is a specialized unit which prepares toddlers for entry into the mixed-age Montessori Preschool Program.
Students may be in this classroom for any amount of time from a week to a year, and some children may even bypass this program altogether.
Developmental Preschool time is spent completing potty training, working on social skills, and perfecting Montessori classroom practices.
Many times this program is especially beneficial for children without older siblings, while the fourth child in a family may skip this step.
Pre-Kindergarten is a very important transition time for your child. We enhance this magical moment by working on the skills your child will need in a traditional academic program.
Teacher-directed dynamics are typical in more traditional programs and this becomes an enhanced feature in our Pre-K program.
We also begin to (SLOWLY) phase out naptime and introduce small group table work.
Our pre-kindergartners are exposed to activities like worksheets, and light testing as they prepare for Kindergarten. Montessori students are usually extremely well-prepared for Kindergarten, so some of our focus is on social adjustments as well.
Preschoolers
Preschoolers enjoy so many wonderful achievements during this critical period of brain development and this important time for social growth.
We firmly believe that if a child learns to love learning and feels successful in school at an early age, then they will always seek challenges and welcome new opportunities to learn throughout life. Preschool classrooms are multi-age so that younger children may emulate older students, and become capable role-models themselves eventually.
This also means that your child may bond with his teachers and adjust to his own learning pace over time. Classroom materials cover the scope from a two year old to a six year old, so every child can find engaging challenges.

Grade Schoolers
A select group of our students will stay with us for their elementary school years.
Our unique Grade School Curriculum moves away from Modified Montessori and into a Progressive program.
We still offer students a choice of activities and plenty of hands-on Montessori materials, but we now use a commercial curriculum.
Advancement is based upon a “Progression After Mastery” philosophy.
Students are formally classed by how long they have been in the program, but they maybe learning different subjects at several different levels.
Someone who has been in the program for two years is a first grader, but they may be learning second grade reading and first grade math.
This unique approach allows every child the time to master essential basic concepts at their own pace.
